Tyrone started his working career as an apprentice chef, who ended up working in and running some of Australia's best restaurants. A career change saw him back at university in his late 20s and Tyrone is now considered a leading researcher and academic in a number of management schools throughout Sydney and abroad.

As a respected author and lecturer, Tyrone brings a gritty determination to his seminars that contrast the lofty ideals that can typify management theories. His training methods are often controversial and force senior executives to reconsider long held positions and ideals and therefore embrace change.

His university lecturing background includes many leading Sydney Business Schools and Tyrone is consistently rated in the top percentage rankings for exciting lecturers on campus.
