Saul Brown is a business consultant, coach, writer and teacher. He has developed a range of programs to improve business performance. Focus areas include: management and leadership, individual and team performance, innovation and marketing, communication, sales, customer and employee engagement.
Saul has balanced twenty years of continuous academic study in economics, business, organisational studies and behavioural science, with executive positions in large financial services and IT&T organisations.
As a coach and consultant, Saul has worked with a range of Australian corporations including; Westpac, Commonwealth Bank, Colonial First State, Macquarie Bank, Man Investments, Austbrokers, Vodafone, Microsoft, Telecom New Zealand, Pharmatel, and Sirona. He also works with a number of small business owners, entrepreneurs and community organisations.
Saul is an adjunct lecturer in a number of gradate schools of management where he teaches MBA subjects "Developing Executive Leadership" and 'Leadership, Coaching & Mentoring'. He is part of a coaching panel at with a leading Sydney Business School where he has coached participants on a number of programs; "Leadership & Coaching for Positive Organisations", "Leading from Within"’, and the "New Managers Program". Participants regularly score him 5/5 and describe his style as down to earth and engaging. Saul has recently completed a supervised research project developing a framework for "group coaching" and is extending this work into a PhD thesis on 'group collaboration for innovation'.
Saul’s passion for leadership and coaching grew out of leadership positions in the Surf Life Saving movement, developed throughout a 15 year corporate career, and crystallised as part of Vodafone’s high potential leaders program where he realised that he wanted to design and facilitate, not just participate in, programs to develop leaders for the future. Each year Saul challenges himself in an endurance sporting event - ironman triathlon, marathon surf swim or surf ironman.
